Russian Association Six Sigma is a non-profit partnership founded in 2004 by the initiative group of Six Sigma professionals alongside with United Consultants FDP, CJSC.

Association mission is to promote the Six Sigma technology, ideology and mentality amoung political and business communities, to speed-up the spread of Six Sigma in Russia.

Our main goals are:

• Promotion of the Six Sigma brand in Russia;
• Adoptation of the Six Sigma methodology in accordance with the Russian business culture;
• Offer Russian companies a practical way to effectively deploy and apply Six Sigma;
• Establish a platform for communication and experience sharing between Russian and international Six Sigma professionals;
• Formalization of  Six Sigma training and certification standards;

During its time of existence, Association Six Sigma has achieved significant results in promotion of the Six Sigma technology in Russia. Ten years ago the Six Sigma brand was practically unknown in Russia, whereas today the technology is actively deployed and applied by a number of the largest Russian companies in various spheres of economy.

Among other things, we were able to accomplish the following:

• Introduce Six Sigma to the Russian economy. We have adopted and presented Six Sigma methodology and tools to a number of Russian companies as well as Russian branches and representative offices of international companies, representing machine engineering, oil and gas sector, banking, military industries and other spheres of economy;
• Promotion of Six Sigma in Russia. We provided financing and organizing support for translation and publication of a nbmer of classical Six Sigma textbooks in Russia. Association also from time to time publishes articles and columns in various popular and specialized media. One of the Association members has written a book “Six Sigma in Russia”;

• Event organization and participation. We served as official partners and participants of the Moscow Six Sigma Conference, Amsterdam Six Sigma Summit, Zurich Conference on Six Sigma in Financial Sector, Lean Conference in Naberezhnye Chelny (Tatarstan), etc.
• Association professionals trained over 2000 specialists – employees of Russian and international companies. Association Six Sigma developed original methods and programs for Six Sigma education for various levels (Yellow Belts, Green Belts Black Belts, accelerated course “Turbo Green Belt”, special presentations and seminars for top executives – potential Champions and Sponsors of Six Sigma projects), adopted for various areas and sectors of economy.
• International cooperation. We have established cooperation with a number of international companies and organizations that provide Six Sigma training and deployment services, including BMGi, Paloma Consulting, Accenture, Ernst&Young, MiniTAB and others.

Association Six Sigma also offers services on Six Sigma training and consulting support of Six Sigma deployments, including organization of presentations and seminars for executives and specialists, training and certification of Green Belts and Black Belts,  provision of complex solutions for the deployment of Six Sigma technology to the companies of different scale and areas of business.

Immediate plans of the Russian Association Six Sigma include revival of open events (including seminars and conferences), offering new services beneficial to the Association members and participants, ensuring our training and certification programs are in accordance with the new standards ISO 13053, parts 1 and 2.
